Software Requirements

Dependent Libraries#

On Linux, Archaea tools depends on the following libraries.

  • OpenSSL
  • Zlib
  • ICU
  • PAM (server)

If your system dose not have the above libraries installed, you need to install the libraries before installing Archaea tools.

On Windows and macOS, it dose not require any libraries (or run-times) to be installed and run.

System Services#

Archaea tools manages its server software of hcpd by systemd On Linux. A PAM service by a system account provider is necessary to resolve user information by executing the system default authentication.

On Windows, you manage its server software using a Windows serivce on the control panel. And a Windows logon service is required to perform the system defalt authentication.
